The Vision Trainer, hereafter abbreviated with VTrain, gives you state of art imaging and analysis capabilities that let you acquire, enhance, analyze and make measurements on images. It includes also an automatic macro recording and playback facility with an integrated C-Interpreter environment.
With VTrain one can open an image from a disk or acquire it using the TWAIN interface. TWAIN enables to use VTrain with the most recent Leutron Vision framegrabbers from PrimaView and PicPort families. There is a direct support for older LV framegrabbers implemented in VTrain as well.
Region of interest (ROI) can be selected on loaded image. Various operations can be then applied to the ROI. These operations include:
VTrain uses the PicLab32 library to perform these operations (run-time PicLab DLL is included with VTrain).
VTrain also enables to do various measurements on the image, including:
The work with VTrain is intercative, however all the steps one do can be recorded or written as a macro and stored on disk. The macro language is very similar to a subset of C-language, so VTrain can be used for rapid prototyping of image processing tasks; it is easy to utilize the macro source later in the real C language based program. User defined DLLs can be called from the macro, which makes the VTrain possibilities extensible.
VTrain is equipped with extensive help that also includes a tutorial in several lessons.
The Vision Trainer requires the following equipment and software:
You can download a demonstration version from this server and check whether VTrain matches your needs. If so the demonstration version can be easily converted to a full version without necessity to reinstall it, just by entering a licence number you obtain from us after your registration and payment.
